Earthquake occurred during my Presidency of the El Tovar HOA. A $10,000,000.00 construction budget was created for replacing and repair of 22 units. Hiring a project manager, budget control, selection of a contractor, and securing a S.B.A. loan was under my direction with the help of an excellent Board of Directors.

Personally responsible for creatively marketing a Resort built in 1884. This kept the operation competitive in a rapidly changing business environment and resulted in the property being sold at a premium price for shareholders.

   Managing Director

Managed a 900-acre resort with 94 rooms. 30,000 guests per year frequented the Resort in addition to banquet groups and day seminars. Responsibilities included purchasing, public relations, sales, advertising, personnel training, entertainment coordination, food services and maintenance.
